From a TV over the mantel in a Firewheel home to a 3x3 video wall in a Deep Ellum sports bar, it's the same job with different equipment. We do it properly the first time — and if we don't, we come back and fix it.

Garland Neighborhoods We Serve

Local knowledge, neighborhood by neighborhood.

Every Garland neighborhood has its own construction era, wall types, and common project scope. We know the difference between a 1973 Duck Creek plaster job and a 2015 Firewheel metal-stud install — and we adapt accordingly. This isn't our first week on the job.

DFW-Specific Work

Installs built for this climate, these homes, and this market.

Texas summers are hard on gear

Outdoor TVs marketed as "weatherproof" still die in DFW heat if they're not the commercial-grade models. Attic-mounted equipment racks cook at 130°+. We spec accordingly — Séura, SunBriteTV, or Samsung Terrace for outdoor. See our outdoor TV service.

Most DFW homes after 2005 use metal studs

Big deal for TV mounting. Standard wood-stud lag bolts don't work. We use toggle bolts rated for the TV weight or install horizontal blocking when the wall allows it. Read our full metal stud mounting guide if you want the technical details.

ERCOT summer power issues are real

Brownouts and dirty power kill AV gear. Every install over $5K gets a proper surge protector or power conditioner — Panamax or Furman for serious systems. Not the $40 strip from Amazon.

HOA realities in Plano, Frisco, Prosper

Satellite dish placement, outdoor speaker restrictions, exterior TV mounting rules — HOAs vary. We handle the permission letter process for outdoor installations in restricted subdivisions, which saves you a weekend of paperwork.

How It Works

Straightforward. Priced before we start.

Call or Request Quote

Ten minutes on the phone usually covers most questions. For anything beyond a basic mount, we schedule a site visit.

On-Site Walk-Through

We look at the space, ask how you actually use it, and point out anything that'll affect the install. No high-pressure sales, and no quote on the spot — we'd rather think it through first.

Fixed-Price Proposal

Written quote within 48 hours. Equipment list, labor, timeline, and total. No "additional fees" once we start unless you change the scope.

Install & Calibrate

Clean job site, tested systems, and a walk-through of every feature before we leave. Five-year workmanship warranty.

What Clients Say

Five-star work, boring reviews.

Nobody writes a glowing review about an installer who shows up on time and does the job right. We appreciate the ones who do anyway.

★★★★★
Mounted three 85-inch TVs across the house and ran an in-wall Sonos Amp to outdoor speakers. Zero visible wires. Showed up when they said they would.

They found the reason our previous installer's Atmos never worked. Wrong speaker angles and a bad HDMI cable. Fixed in an afternoon.

Common Questions

What people usually ask first.

How much does a home theater installation cost in Garland?
TV mounting starts at $149. A proper 5.1 surround setup with in-wall speakers runs $2,500–$4,500 installed. Dedicated theater rooms — screen, projection, Atmos, acoustic panels — typically land between $15,000 and $45,000 depending on size and equipment tier. Every quote is fixed-price after we walk the room. See our detailed cost guide for a full breakdown.
How long does a typical installation take?
TV mount on drywall: 60–90 minutes. Fireplace mount with in-wall routing: 2–3 hours. Full 5.1 with in-wall speakers: 4–6 hours, sometimes a return visit for paint touch-up. Dedicated theater room builds run 2–5 days. Commercial installations like video walls or restaurant AV builds are quoted individually.
Do you service areas outside of Garland?
The whole DFW metroplex — Garland, Rowlett, Richardson, Plano, Dallas, Mesquite, Sachse, Wylie, Murphy, Allen, McKinney, Frisco, Carrollton, and up into the Park Cities. No travel fees within 30 miles.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Texas low-voltage license on file, $2M general liability, workers' comp active. COI available within an hour for commercial property managers or HOAs that need it before work starts.
What brands do you work with?
Residential: Sony, Samsung, LG, Sonos, Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, Klipsch, KEF, Bowers & Wilkins, Triad, SVS, JL Audio, Epson, JVC, RTI, Lutron, Ecobee, and Nest. Security cameras: Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Ring, and Nest. Networking: Ubiquiti UniFi, Aruba, and Cisco Meraki. Commercial: Samsung/LG commercial displays, Planar and LG LED video walls, Crestron, Extron, QSC, Shure, Poly, and Logitech for conference rooms.
Can you mount a TV above my fireplace?
We can. Whether you should is a different question — above a fireplace is almost always too high for comfortable viewing, and heat from an active fireplace can shorten a TV's lifespan. If you're set on it, we use articulating or pull-down mounts so the screen can tilt down to eye level when you're watching.
Do you work weekends and after hours?
Yes, and for commercial clients it's often required. Restaurants, retail, and offices can't lose operating hours to an install. We schedule commercial work around your business.
